AI-powered capability development

Learning that builds
who you become.

Circean builds AI platforms grounded in the science of learning — helping students and professionals develop the capability to think, adapt, and grow independently.

What we believe
Most AI makes learners
more dependent.
We build the opposite.

The dominant AI narrative in education is efficiency — faster answers, better results. Circean starts from a different premise: that the most valuable thing learning can do is build capability that outlasts the tool.

Altitude is built on A Learner's Toolkit and the KBCP framework — evidence-based research developed by the Churchie Research Centre in collaboration with the University of Queensland and Washington University. Every interaction is designed to develop knowledge, belief, commitment, and planning. Not to shortcut them.

Capability development as the mechanism for outcomes improvement. Better results follow — but they follow from becoming a better learner.

01
Built on proven science
Altitude deploys the ALT framework — six evidence-based strategies that replace low-utility habits. Spaced retrieval, dual coding, elaborative interrogation — embedded in every interaction.
02
Always on, always adapting
Shows up at the right moment, knows the learner, makes invisible progress visible, and grows with them over time. Not a task tool — a capability engine.
03
Insight at every layer
Learners see their own growth. Teachers get signal over noise. Leaders get narrative-ready impact data. One platform, distinct insight psychology for each audience.
The platform
One evidence-based engine.
Skinned to any learning
environment.

Circean Altitude is the AI-powered capability development platform built on the science of learning. Currently in active deployment with Year 11 at Churchie — one of Queensland's leading independent schools — with multi-faculty adoption across academic and pastoral care.

The same engine scales to universities, RTOs, and professional learning environments. Same rigorous framework, same evidence base, configured to the context.

Advisory
For leaders who want to
adopt AI well
not just fast.

Frederique brings 20 years of enterprise experience across leadership, growth strategy, and organisational change. The advisory practice exists for one reason: to help school leaders, organisations, and thought leaders navigate AI adoption in a mature, governed way — not chasing the hype, building genuine capability.

This is not implementation support dressed up as strategy. It is grounded in hard-won commercial experience and a clear-eyed view of what actually changes how organisations think and operate at scale.

AI adoption strategy
Helping school leaders and organisations adopt AI with maturity and governance — building the internal capability to lead AI change, not just deploy tools.
Growth and leadership
Drawing on 20 years of enterprise leadership and growth strategy — working with leaders who want to build organisations genuinely fit for what's coming.
Altitude partnership
For schools and organisations ready to deploy Altitude — pilot design, stakeholder alignment, outcome instrumentation, and case study development.
Grounded in evidence
Rigorous research.
Proven effect sizes.
Activated through AI.

Altitude is built on ALT — A Learner's Toolkit — and the KBCP framework, developed by the Churchie Research Centre in collaboration with the University of Queensland Science Learning Research Centre and Prof. Mark McDaniel of Washington University.

The effect sizes are large and consistent across the three dimensions of learner capability that predict long-term academic and professional performance. Circean deploys this research as a live, adaptive AI platform.
